General Description:

A Water Elder is a key part of any village as they ensure that the projects are completed on time. The main responsibilities of a Water Elder include working with team members to create a realistic timeline, following up with team members to ensure everything is running smoothly, and tracking project progress in a variety of ways.

A Water Elder network within the local community to create positive social impact, help in developing programs and enlist community support for causes. Daily duties can involve meetings with surrounding community members and officials, project planning, connecting people with necessary WE resources, and creating informational materials and reports. Experience is helpful in the fields such as social work and community development. Responsibilities vary, but most community organizers must maintain community relationships, interact directly with the public, and devise programs and campaigns to reach specific groups.

No- but we have a temporary camper to stay in when you start and you will be allocated a lot for your office and residence. You could bring a camper for a short term or a tiny house. We have a resource for the financed purchase of an unfinished tiny house for around $200 a month or you could even work with our EcoJunk Air Elder to get a community-built Gaiaship.
